A contemporary church with an ever-increasing congregation, Freedom needed a new place to worship. Their preferred site included a listed building. It also had attendant flood risks – requiring emergency access to a large Wessex Water installation, which limited the size of any new building.

The constraints opened up the scope for imagination and enabled us to design a vibrant, clean and open space which allows the church to flourish.

The proposed building accommodates over 400 people and provides a modern and attractive auditorium for the local community with ample room for main services on a Sunday.
