MEPC work continues on new £24m development 'Park Drive East'

Construction work at MEPC’s Park Drive East development at Milton Park is progressing well. Significant milestones have been reached on the project, with the recent announcement that Oxford Immunotec Global PLC, a NASDAQ listed Oxford University spin-out, is to expand its global headquarters at Milton Park. In terms of timeframe, 141, the Grade A office building, is due to finish in December. 142 and 143 will follow in the first quarter of 2018.

With increasing numbers of businesses wishing to join Milton Park, Oxfordshire’s leading science and business community, SRA have been working closely with MEPC’s development team to create highly adaptable buildings.

As well as ensuring maximum flexibility, the buildings are designed to achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and appeal to science and technology companies embarking on research and development activities. The scheme comprises a variety of suites ranging from 5,000 sqft up to 41,500 sqft.

This visually distinctive and thoughtfully practical development demonstrates MEPC’s post-Brexit market confidence. Due for completion in the last quarter of 2017, it is MEPC’s largest development on the Park to date.

In developing workspaces suitable for the thriving science and technology sector, the new development at Milton Park has the potential to create 1,000 new jobs, which will support the Vale of White Horse and South Oxfordshire District Council's plans to deliver 20,000 new jobs over the next 20 years.

We are really excited to have started construction on site. SRA have been fundamental in helping us get to this stage.
