Automotive roundup: our latest projects
/It has been a busy year in our automotive sector. We've had projects complete, clients move in and customers happy with their new, upgraded car buying experiences. Recently, we've finished Jaguar Land Rover jobs in Cardiff, Reading and Slough, showrooms for Audi in Exeter and Worthing, and a Porsche showroom in London.
Worthing Audi
Our latest project to complete is a new build Audi showroom for long standing client Caffyns.
It’s a brand new showroom, significantly larger than the previous premises, with improved parking facilities, more cars on display and state of the art facilities. We collaborated with the client to ensure the latest technology and interactive digital experiences were integrated into the design.

Jaguar Land Rover Cardiff
SRA Architects' first project for Pendragon PLC was the construction of the Jaguar Land Rover showroom and workshop on Hadfield Road in Cardiff. The refurbishment and extension of the long-standing car dealership provides an 18-car showroom with customer facilities and a 20-bay workshop. Working alongside APP Construction, revamping the site was the key focus of the Cardiff Jaguar Land Rover refurbishment.
South London Porsche
We are proud to have built a new 20 car Porsche showroom for Jardine Motors Group in Sidcup, Kent. Built to meet the very latest Porsche brand standards, this building also offers a 19 ramp workshop and a MOT facility. Extensive site reconfiguration has not only improved the prominence of this building to the road, but provided vehicle parking, servicing, valeting and storage spaces for the business
Audi Exeter
Sitting alongside the recently completed Volkswagen facility opposite, this relocated showroom sits on a prime gateway site to the new Matford Green Business Park in Exeter.
The 33,960 sqft site is almost double the size of their existing dealership, with showroom space for up to 15 cars. It is fitted with the very latest interactive technology, allowing visitors to browse the full Audi range electronically from within the showroom.
This is a low energy, sustainable building, (BREEAM Very Good) with a range of design measures including photovoltaic panels, a sustainable urban drainage system and maximising natural light in the building.
As well as a new car showroom, the facility includes a 14 bay workshop, service drive-through, and valeting bays.
