Works soon to begin on site for new Mercedes-Benz and Harley-Davidson showrooms
/Following planning permission granted last month, work is about to begin on the refurbishment and extension of retail premises currently occupied by Mercedes-Benz and Harley-Davidson, at Lakeside in Essex.
The project will see the existing dual units combined to form a single open and transparent showroom. It has been designed to accommodate the growing Mercedes-Benz business along with its AMG and Smart brands. Prior to this work, the project will provide a new stand-alone showroom and service facilities for the Harley-Davidson dealership. This will allow the Harley-Davidson business to continue to trade alongside Mercedes-Benz as before.
Careful planning will enable the retail operations of both businesses to remain largely unaffected throughout the works. When completed, the new showrooms will provide an enhanced customer experience based on the distinguished qualities of the Mercedes-Benz and Harley-Davidson brands.
